38. GOTS-Jahreskongress (DE-EN) Luxembourg, LU

Dear colleagues,
Dear friends of sports orthopaedics and sports traumatology,

We would kindly invite you to the 38th Annual Congress of the German-Austrian-Swiss Society for Orthopaedic-Traumatological Sports Medicine (www.gots.org). It is a great honour for us to organise this in Luxembourg from 15 to 17 June 2023.
The GOTS is one of the world's largest associations of sports orthopaedists and sports traumatologists. It unites all levels of sports medicine training, from medical students organised in the Young Academy to doctors in residency training and the highly specialised experts who look after the best athletes in these countries every day, as well as students and specialists in physiotherapy and sports science. Especially for the student group, a special programme on clinical anatomy with a world-renowned orthopaedic surgeon from Poland will be offered.

You can find the exciting and interesting programme with many highlights and great speakers on our congress website. There will be many sessions and courses in English (next to German).
The programme includes lecture sessions, instruction courses and hands-on workshops dealing with acute and overuse sports injuries of all joints of the human body, i.e. from the mechanism and risk factors to prevention, conservative and surgical therapies, rehabilitation, return to sports activity and the extent of their long-term consequences. Reference will be made to different age groups, performance and sport categories, athletes with and without disabilities, gender, anatomical region and structure and diverse sports (including cycling, triathlon, Olympic martial arts, football, handball, climbing, dancing, skiing).

In addition, guests of honour from Canada and Switzerland as well as international world-class athletes from Germany and Luxembourg are expected.

As a nice finale, the congress still offers the opportunity to exchange ideas at the congress party on Friday evening and to go on a bike tour with the brothers Andy Schleck (2010 Tour de France winner) and Fränk Schleck (2010 Tour de Suisse winner) on Saturday afternoon.

We hope to present to you the special and unique opportunity of the GOTS Annual Congress in Luxembourg and would be very pleased to welcome you personally in June.
With best regards,

Dr. Christian Nührenbörger (GOTS Congress President)
Prof. Dr. Romain Seil (GOTS-Past-President)
